This has been going on for quite sometime now. Bush has been appointing personnel to his administration that are charismatic and the public eats it up. The political propaganda machine in this country is very effective in how it accomplishes its agenda. Question, who's to take responsibilty for the condition of the union when the Bush administration is finished? What can you really hold Bush accountable for when his term is up? What are you going to do, say you can't run for office anymore. He's made his impact (negative of course), he's got his money.
